Beloved,
Now that I'm back in Fredericksburg, Va, I am looking ahead to some amazing things this Fall/Spring! I am in so much faith for my generation as I return from traveling the country seeing old friends and meeting thousands of people young and old who are hearing the voice of the Lord and responding to the call! Truly we are entering into days of incredible outpouring and shaking. These are some of the things that are happening here on the home front:
Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace
Right now God is raising up Houses of Prayer all over the globe in a worship and prayer movement to prepare the earth for the return of His glorious SON! Here in Fredericksburg, VA we are preparing a place for the Lord to dwell. I have been gripped with Psalm 132 lately. The passage recalls David's zeal to see the Lord have a dwelling place in the midst of His people; a place where His manifest presence could dwell so that men might seek Him and know Him. David said of himself and in psalm 69 :9 "Zeal for your house has consumed me". This was later used to describe Jesus when
he cleansed the temple in Jerusalem. More and more I am beginning to feel, in a small part, what David felt and what he longed for. Praise the Lord, by the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus our bodies have become a temple of the Spirit of the Lord and the kingdom dwells within us, but is there a place for a corporate dwelling of the glory of God? What happens when a people come together to minister the Lord in the place of prayer and worship, giving priority to the Lords presence first and out of that place ministry to the body and lost flows. We have thousands of towering buildings built for pride of men but where is the place where His glory can dwell? Here in Fredericksburg we have a vision to raise up a day and night "prayer furnace" to minister to the Lord's presence, cover ministries with intercession, and contend for the breaking in of the kingdom of God in power through apostolic preaching, anointed evangelism, signs and wonders, and angelic hosts pushing back darkness over this region. This fall we will be running three shifts a day; morning, mid-day, and evening prayer, monday through friday.
Burn Internship
Accompanying the Prayer Furnace this fall we are launching an internship for training and equipping intercessors for ministry. This is a 6 month internship focus the four values of intimacy, intercession, compassion, and prophetic (supernatural) ministry. Interns will go deep in the knowledge of God and a life of prayer as well as radical cultural engagement and compassion ministry to the poor and broken. I am so excited to begin to disciple and raise up these ones with an understanding of the times and a practical walk with a heart for the poor and the lost while living in community. The interns will staff the prayer furnace, study the Word of God and attend classroom time, be involved with various activism events in D.C., and minister to the homeless and lost in Fredericksburg.
Partner with me!
I will be functioning this year as an intercessory missionary teaching Christology, training in prophetic ministry, leading worship, preaching at weekly gatherings and interceding for this generation and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I am giving my life to this vision because I believe wholeheartedly in what the Lord is doing in this hour. Similar to an traditional overseas missionaries, I am living by faith and raising support to give myself full-time to this ministry. I am in need of support both in prayer and financially. If you would like to support me here are some options:
· Prayer Support: a commitment to hold me up in prayer as I update you on the battles I am facing.
· One-time gift: if you don’t feel able to make a monthly commitment but the Lord has laid it on your heart to support me, a one-time gift would be a great option!
· $25, $50, or $100 a month: monthly commitments help me plan out my budget and asses my needs.
All donations are tax-deductible and are accounted for through Grace Church of Fredericksburg. Please make checks out Grace Church with my name in the memo line. Mail to:
